Accion is an inspirational client. As the nation's largest non-profit microlender they are focused on helping others and by extension empowering people and strengthening communities. That is also what they are trying to do with the site of their new headquarters. Along with their offices they plan to build a cafe and daycare. They would also like to partner with the neighboring school and green space alliance to build a community garden and edible classroom.

The Playa Escondida team just sent their conceptual design package for a senior affordable housing project in Hobbs, New Mexico.  The owner, Tierra Realty Trust, will be using this package to compete for state money that is awarded annually to projects providing quality, affordable housing.
