1221 BROADWAY

San Antonio, TX

For years, a vacant building shell occupied this high-profile site at the convergence of Interstates 35 and 37. When the neglected property was auctioned on the courthouse steps, the new owners saw the potential for these two city blocks between the urban corridor of Broadway Street and the San Antonio River. The mixed-use development creates a new skin for the existing building shells, adds an additional floor to the office building (with retail and a restaurant on the street), finishes out the parking garage, and adds more square footage to the apartment structure.
