Perched above the steep and rugged limestone bluff of the Llano River in Central Texas, this house melds into the rocky landscape while preserving the natural, sensitive beauty of the cliff. A long, arcing entry porch creates a wide seating area at the bedroom wing and lead to the main octagonal pavilion that serves as a living room and year-round lookout. Weathered limestone collected from the site is stacked to create thick, sturdy corbelled piers that anchor the three-bedroom house to the site.
