Allison cultivated her passion for interiors during her childhood while assisting her father with his carpentry business. Later, she developed a desire for interior design, focusing on the importance of performance and a human’s perception of interior environments. She strives to create spaces that perform for all users while being mindful to incorporate aspects of the natural world. Allison received her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design at Iowa State University and now works full-time as a member of the Interior Design team at Lake Flato’s Austin office. Outside of the office, she can be found exploring nature trails with her two dogs or finding the best street tacos in the Austin area.
