Intern

AnAn is an architectural intern based in San Antonio, TX, with a background in architecture and art history, historic preservation, and mathematical analysis. Her design practice and academic research are grounded in a strong commitment to urban ecology, social equity, and environmental conservation. Prior to joining Lake Flato, she interned with Boston Preservation Alliance on preservation advocacy, with Stantec on concept and design development, and with Self-Assembly Lab and Programmable Mud at MIT on digital fabrication and regenerative materials.

AnAn holds a B.A. in Architecture and Mathematics from Wellesley College, where she received the Eliza Newkirk Rogers Prize for Architecture and the Library Research Award. She was an active leader in Wellesley’s Architecture and Design Club and a member of the Boston Chapter of NOMA, working to build a supportive academic and professional community for students and emerging professionals in architecture.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, cooking, painting, and traveling. She is fluent in English and Mandarin and is currently refreshing her Spanish after moving to Texas. When the weather allows, you’ll likely find her outdoors, enjoying the sun—not the heat.
