Ben Meyer
Designer
Ben is a designer in Lake Flato’s Learning Studio, driven by a passion for creating spaces that deeply connect with people and enrich their daily lives. He believes that truly beautiful architecture emerges from the integration of functionality, human-centered design, and sustainability—each element enhancing the other to create meaningful, enduring places.
While studying at UT Austin’s School of Architecture, Ben developed an appreciation for how intentional, purposeful architecture can elevate people’s lives—an experience he believes everyone should have. His curiosity also led him to explore computational and AI-driven tools, giving him a deeper understanding of the industry’s evolving future.
Outside of work, Ben finds inspiration in travel and the natural world. Whether hiking, exploring, or simply immersing himself in the outdoors, he recharges and draws creativity from the beauty and energy of his surroundings.
