Catherine is a designer in our Residential studio. She strives to design projects that captures the essence of an urban and natural landscape to expose it in a simple, relatable way. Catherine believes design is a language to translate what people feel but cannot describe, and that spatial, social and environmental awareness make for more meaningful architecture. A lover of textures, colors and atmospheres, Catherine also enjoys crafting furniture and lamps, and abstract painting. Originally from Montréal, Canada, Catherine received her Master of Architecture from Université de Montréal and previously spent a year studying at California Polytechnic State University while she pursued her Bachelor’s degree. When she is not at work, Catherine enjoys trying spicy food, surfing, yoga, and cooking.
