Cole is passionate about the craft of buildings and how they relate to place and context. He enjoys working on buildings of all scales, though cultural and institutional projects are of special interest to him. Prior to joining Lake Flato, Cole worked for an architecture firm in Wellington, New Zealand, and spent a year backpacking across Asia and Australia. A native Marylander, He received his Bachelor’s in Architecture from the University of Maryland, where he is also a licensed architect.
