Evan is an architect in Lake Flato’s residential studio who is intrigued by architecture’s capacity to shape experience, evoke emotion and frame our interactions with one another. A dexterous learner, Evan enjoys the process of creating with his hands. He helped establish—and currently manages— Lake Flato’s woodshop. Evan obtained his Bachelor of Architecture from Clemson University. While pursuing his Master of Architecture from Tulane University, he spent his summers teaching and backpacking in Alaska. When he is not at Lake Flato, Evan mentors young architectural professionals in San Antonio as chair of the local AIA Professional Practice and Leadership Program.
