Garrett is focused on refining concepts to their clearest and most restrained expression, from broad strokes to the finest of details. This skillset extends to a diversity of project work, and he finds enjoyment working on projects that positively and actively engage underserved communities. This focus was cultivated at Texas Tech University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Architecture, and then the University of Texas at Austin, where he obtained his Master of Architecture. A lover of fine arts, Garrett can be found collecting art (mostly locally), listening to lectures about art, and curating many art shows. He strives to incorporate art integration into all of his architectural work, using art as inspiration in the design process.
Garrett currently oversees the firm’s ART LF program, which showcases rotating exhibits by regional artists at the firm’s newly renovated office.
