When not performing everyday administrative heroics for Lake Flato’s partners and staff, Gwen loves to fill her free time with family as well as the art and craft of photography; currently she is exploring the emphasis of fine art/mixed-media photography through photo-to-canvas art. Raised in New York and proud of her Puerto Rican heritage, Gwen considers herself a modernist seeking to preserve her culture through music, food and art. She currently serves as Director of the International Accordion Festival, a San Antonio-based nonprofit that features international performers and is committed to cultural education, allowing individuals from all ethnicities and socioeconomic backgrounds access to music and arts programming at no cost.
