Jennifer joins Lake Flato from Baltimore, Maryland with a diverse background in project scales and types. As a Midwestern “transplant,” Jennifer has been traveling around the world (and, more recently, the country) since her undergraduate days at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain. Acquiring a dual Master’s in Architecture and Real Estate Development from the University of Maryland inspired her interest in connecting people to the natural world through the built environment. Jennifer leverages her development background to communicate this interest to clients. Jennifer’s interest in the natural world informs her design thinking – she’s an avid horticulturist, a passionate yogi and weekend explorer, hiking national parks with a camera in hand.
