John Chamberlain
Architect I
John is a Designer at Lake Flato who is passionate about residential work. He has a deep interest in cultivating sense of place, dedicating his undergraduate thesis to the topic. Project types that pique his interest include residential, restaurant, historical renovation/restoration, museums, and pavilions. He obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech, previously spent one summer living and working in Alaska at a fishery, and studied abroad in Switzerland while attending Virgina Tech. When he’s away from the office, John enjoys spending time with his retired racing greyhound named Scully, painting, photography, and learning about history.
