Joseph Benjamin, known in the office as Joe Ben, joined Lake Flato in 1998. Joe Ben has developed a diverse portfolio of civic and commercial projects that exhibit his commitment to integrating sustainable design strategies that account for the overall lifespan of each building. His approach to design is pragmatic and holistic, grounded in a belief that great projects come from great relationships. In his 20 years with Lake Flato, Joe has been committed to creating collaborative relationships between all stakeholder groups to create an environment focused on providing owners with the best possible solutions. He has gained a reputation for being a calm and focused leader who can manage difficult project situations to create practical high-performance facilities that leverage climate and context and connect users to the natural landscape.
