An Associate Partner in Lake Flato’s residential studio, Laura Kaupp Jensen enjoys closely collaborating with clients in the design of thoughtful, comfortable homes that embrace their unique contextual landscape. Laura started her career in Annapolis, Maryland learning the craft of early American architecture and working within a historical setting. Slowly making her way over to the Pacific Northwest via San Antonio, she continues to be inspired by vernacular forms and their response to a particular climate and place. Around the office, Laura actively encourages mentorship through Lake Flato’s Guide program. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and playing frisbee on the beach with her husband and dog, Frankie.
