A Nashville, Tennessee native, Lila has cultivated an appreciation and an eye for design that she has explored in some of the world’s most design-centric cities. While earning her Bachelor of Arts at Vanderbilt University, Lila elected to take modern architecture courses in Paris, business courses in London, and after committing to furthering her design education at Parsons in New York, she diversified her design portfolio with a fashion design course at Parsons Paris.
Lila joins Lake Flato following her experience in high-end, single-family residential work with Mark Hampton, LLC in Manhattan and high-end commercial design at Hastings Architecture in Nashville. From the start of her career, Lila has designed and executed award-winning projects of various sizes across the residential, commercial, hospitality, government and education sectors.
Lila is continuously pursuing professional challenges with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of design, quality, management, and collaboration. When she is not designing, Lila can be found exploring, gaining inspiration from the natural world and travel experiences both stateside and abroad.
