Marina is a seasoned Project Accountant at Lake Flato, bringing a wealth of expertise in bookkeeping and accounting to the firm. With a focus on supporting the Residential and Higher Education teams, she plays a crucial role in entering and processing consultant invoices while collaborating with project managers to ensure accurate billing for our clients. Marina’s keen attention to detail shines through, always striving to streamline processes by finding innovative ways to automate tasks and reduce paper usage.
Marina has gained invaluable knowledge through mentorship from Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and hands-on experience. Her most significant professional growth occurred during her time at AllClear ID, where impeccably detailed systems were essential for flawless audits, and at ADKF Accounting, which provided a strong foundation in tax processes.
When not working, you can find Marina thrill-seeking through hiking, stand-up paddle boarding, and kickboxing. As a proud member of the “Auntie Squad,” she cherishes taking her nieces and nephews on fun-filled “Auntie Adventures,” complete with matching shirts for memorable outings.
