Matt Morris

Partner Emeritus

Matt Morris joined Lake Flato in 1993 and currently serves as Partner Emeritus. An exceptional artist, Matt creates watercolor and detailed hand-illustrated architectural renderings to help communicate design ideas for different audiences. Across the firm and in the community, he mentors students and young designers in both drawing and painting. He empowers emerging designers to develop their visual language, helping them bridge conceptual ideas with architectural clarity through sketches, diagrams, and iterative explorations. Matt has served the AIA at local, state, and national levels helping youth, young designers, and emerging leaders find their voice through different mediums of expression, passing on the artform of drawing to the next generation.
