Matt is a designer at Lake Flato with a deep passion for creating structures that resonate with their surroundings and are seamlessly integrated into the landscape. He thrives on the iterative design process, drawing inspiration from nature to inform his work. His experience ranges widely, having contributed to projects from small-scale branch libraries to large corporate headquarters in Silicon Valley.
Matt holds a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas, a program known for its emphasis on design and its connection to the natural environment.
Outside of his professional life, Matt values quality time with his family and finds tranquility in tending to his yard, where he further connects with nature and the principles that inspire his architectural vision.
