Michael David Salinas
AIA
Architect II
Michael’s approach to architecture is balanced, contemplating the complexity of issues surrounding sustainability, urbanism, and equality in the built environment while simultaneously looking for integrated solutions that remain visually and spatially exquisite. He contributes to all phases of design, from early concept design studies requiring both analog and digital drawing skills, to coordinating with consultants during later design phases, detailing technical sections, and finalizing construction document sets. Currently, he helps to lead development projects through early phases of design in Lake Flato’s Austin studio. Michael has a wide range of interests stemming from all aspects of art, design, history, politics, and film.
