Nyssa is interested in the potential architecture has to craft meaningful spaces for a wide range of people. Her time living in New York City has emphasized her interest in the urban context with a particular interest in community oriented design. Nyssa brings a unique viewpoint to Lake Flato’s Urban Design Studio; with a background in neuroscience, she brings a strong analytical side while still utilizing her creativity. Nyssa began her career path by obtaining a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Architecture from Columbia University. When not in the office you can find Nyssa booking her next flight to nearby and far-off destinations and exploring the natural environments of Central Texas.
