Sam is an architect in Lake Flato’s residential studio. He received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Architecture from University of Michigan. Inspired by the desert landscape of New Mexico that he experienced in his youth, Sam is passionate about design that emphasizes the landscape rather than singularly drawing focus onto the built environment. In his free time, Sam enjoys trying new restaurants and is currently on a quest to find the best ice cream in San Antonio, one waffle cone at a time.
