Trailborn Grand Canyon

Located on the main strip of Williams—the gateway to the Grand Canyon National Park—the redesigned Trailborn Grand Canyon reimagines the brand’s evolving identity through a design experience rooted in adventure, connection, and hospitality. The transformed 96-room property blends restored historic character with curated Southwestern artwork, vintage finds, and modern comforts, creating a warm and immersive guest experience inspired by the surrounding landscape and culture.

In collaboration with Trailborn

This roadside Route 66 hotel redefines the classic American motel through a thoughtful adaptive reuse transformation that preserves the spirit of the original property while giving it new life for today’s traveler. At the heart of the property, Camp Hall serves as a lively social hub with live music, family-friendly programming, and outdoor gathering spaces that foster community and connection.

Inside, the design team transformed the property by restoring historic elements and layering curated Southwestern and locally inspired accessories with vintage finds, all while welcoming guests with contemporary comfort. The design narrative and material palette are heavily inspired by the Arizona landscape—echoing the colors and strata of its sedimentary layers. A thoughtful juxtaposition of warm neutrals and gemstone-like accents celebrates the region’s natural beauty while honoring the rich heritage of Miss Kitty’s Western-inspired character.

The program encompasses public spaces, including a lobby market and retail, as well as food-and-beverage venues such as the Camp Hall beer hall, restaurant, and bar. Outdoor amenities include a pool, hot tub, fire pit, bike rental, lawn games, and outdoor dining.
