Wallace Works

This transformational redevelopment of a formal industrial site moves toward a new development paradigm for Bozeman. The design takes cues from the industrial and gritty quality of the surrounding Northeast Bozeman Brewery Historic District, with a vision to design attainable housing that provides social and cultural enrichment through an honest approach to craft and place.

The project sits on the site of the historic Lehrkind Brewery among lumber yards, grain silos, and historic homes. The site offers ample outdoor gathering spaces with commercial tenants that serve the everyday life of the surrounding neighborhood. Food trucks, art markets, and live-work spaces bolster the entrepreneurial spirit of the wider North Wallace Avenue community.

Keeping the site open and scaled to the surrounding neighborhood was a priority, creating inviting spaces where neighbors can interact and bring the site to life.
