Better Know An LF'er: Sierra Haight

"Sierra Madre! Sierra Leone! Sierra Mist! Sierra Nevada! Sierra Haight may not answer to all of David Lake’s affectionate nicknames, but if you’re lucky enough, you might catch a glimpse of her perfected side eye-roll. #thatsnotmyname  She landed on our doorstep a little less than two years ago, picked up the archispeak lingo, immersed herself in our culture, carved out a niche in our department; and now we must all bid a fond, albeit begrudgingly, farewell. #stillbitteraboutherdecision Sierra’s approachable personality will not only be missed at Lake|Flato, it will definitely be missed around the Alamo City, just ask any of the tourists requesting a family photo, directions to the Alamo, or where one might pick up their birth certificate. Since her likability is infectious, we can safely assume that this trend will continue in Seattle. #wherecanifindpikeplacemarket Her time here may have been short, but I’m proud to say we will always remain members of the Sierra Haight Club. #haightersgonnahaight " -Denise DeLeon (sent from my ipad) HaightClub   "There will be no taller personality than Sierra Nevada No one with more enthusiasm than Sierra No one with a greater smile and patience... And And And We miss you already¡¡¡¡¡" -David Lake (sent from my iphone) "Ms. Haight has taught me more about Ryan Gosling than I ever cared to know.
